Nitrogen starvation of roses: young leaves become smaller and lighter, sometimes red spots appear on them, shoots twisted. Urgently feed the plants with nitrogen fertilizer (if you apply at the roots, help will come only after a week, so it’s better to use the leaves).

The concentration of the foliar top dressing should be 10 times less than the root top dressing, otherwise the leaves will be burned. If at the root, take 1 – 3 tbsp. l. (30-100 g) per 10 liters of water, then on the leaves – 3-10 g, that is, about 1/2 tsp. (ammonium nitrate, ammonia – a full teaspoon).

Plants should be sprayed early in the morning or evening, guessing that there will be no rain for 3 hours.

No potassium in roses: young leaves turn red, others develop a drying border (marginal burn), flowers decrease.

Feed with potassium fertilizer without chlorine (potassium sulfate, potassium salt or potassium magnesium): 1 tsp. (without top) for 10 liters of water.

Everything, everything about dressing roses. Indicators of nutritional deficiencies.

Phosphorus deficiency in roses: young leaves are dark green, reddish-violet below, shrink and fall off, curved shoots. Spray the plant with double superphosphate: pre-sprinkle the granules (1 teaspoon without top) overnight with 1 tablespoon. boiling water, mix the solution with 10 liters of water in the morning and strain.

No magnesium in roses: old leaves become marbled and fall off. For feeding, take calimagnesia or foscamide, Epsom salt or burnt magnesia (1 teaspoon / 10 l of water).

in no iron on rose leaves large yellow spots appear, usually after applying high doses of lime during soil deoxidation.

In this case, and manganese deficiency (the leaf blade turns yellow between the veins). Accordingly, you can spray the plant with iron sulfate (1/2 tsp / bucket) and a pale pink solution of potassium permanganate.

Effective foliar feeding in the case of deficiencies of any nutrients is spraying with complex fertilizer in a chelated form.

Better to use “Uniflor-Rost” or “Uniflor-Bud”: 1-2 teaspoons / 10 l is enough (for root feeding – 4 teaspoons). Or “Florist”, “Aquadon-Micro” as per the instructions.
